Off Script has gathered artists with stories, paintings, drawings, songs or other art forms inspired by the experiences of loss, recovery, serendipity or discovery. I’m honored to read a poem alongside these other artists.

Off Script is a collaborative medical humanities event co-sponsored by Baylor College of Medicine, the McGovern Center and McGovern Medical School at UTHealth, and the University of Houston. Since 2016, the event has been held across the Texas Medical Center with two annual storytelling events
